30 May 2012: Bobby Deal, Managing Director of Global Regulatory Services (GRS), is delighted to announce that GRS has become a member of the prestigious Parliamentary and Scientific Committee.

Cosmetics: Global Regulatory Services (GRS) announces strategic alliance with CONUSBAT

With the current EU Cosmetics Directive becoming the Cosmetic Products Regulation, fully enforceable in July 2013, GRS can envisage that many existing and new Cosmetic companies will need support to ensure full compliance by next year's deadline.  Therefore, the Directors felt it was important to link up with another like-minded consultancy who specialise in the Cosmetic Industry.  With GRS' expertise in borderline products (such as herbals) and the focused specialism of CONUSBAT on Cosmetics, the combination will be of tremendous value to Cosmetic companies.

Sir Christopher Evans opened the One Nucleus Bench-to-Boardroom event on 6th March.  His popularity could be seen by the fact that it was 'standing room' only for those not quick enough to capture a seat.  He is often described as the ‘founding father’ of the Cambridge biotech cluster and it was clear that Cambridge remains a special place for him.

A regulatory consultancy for the herbal industry is urging EU health officials to review new laws which came into force in April last year, warning that it is being flouted by a number of companies to avoid its costly licensing process, and that its future in Europe is at risk.
