Cambridge Enterprise & Technology Club (CETC) The CETC provides a networking forum for business people, academics, technologists and service providers, together with a unique opportunity to learn about cutting edge technologies. The Club was founded as part of a Department of Trade & Industry initiative in the 1980’s to improve business skills.
East of England Stem Cell Network (EESCN) EESCN was established in 2004 with the objective of ensuring that the East of England prospers in terms of both economic output and patient benefit from stem cell biology and regenerative medicine. This organisation was established in 1997 with a grant for 3 years from the Department of Trade & Industry (DTI). Then in 2000 ERBI became a private, not-for-profit, self-financing, membership based company. To date, ERBI is Europe's leading lifescience and healthcare cluster.
Global Trade Network (GTN) GTN is a new business network designed to help international trading companies improve their business performance through networking with likeminded individuals.
London Technology Network (LTN) LTN promotes innovative collaborations and helps to stimulate technology-intensive innovation between universities and business. They are also part of Enterprise Europe Network, which is aimed at stimulating the exchange of technologies across Europe, and promoting the activities of London and South-East businesses to the wider European market. LTN and Enterprise Europe Network are dedicated to improving the competitiveness of UK industry through more effective interaction between the science and technology research base and industry. The Cambridge Network links like minded people from business and academia to each other and to the global high technology community for the benefit of the Cambridge region. It enables members to work together and leverage their collective resources in new ways for the benefit of technology-enabled enterprise and adjacent stakeholders in the Cambridge region. London Regenerative Medicine Network (LRMN) The LRMN provides a forum for all aspects of new regenerative medicine technologies to be presented and discussed for the purpose of establishing a successful and sustainable regenerative medicine industry in the UK It is a ‘not for profit organization’ now funded principally by the London Development Agency with additional sponsorship from a leading law firm, Clifford Chance, which has a strong life sciences practice. |
