Press ReleaseGlobal Regulatory Services is proud to announce that their nominated charity is Macmillan Cancer Support, Cambridge 26th March 2009 – Cambridge. Not one of us goes through life without knowing at least one person who has cancer. Cancer affects us all and the statistics show that one in three of us will be diagnosed with cancer at some point in our lives. Macmillan Cancer Support improves the lives of people affected by cancer. They can help with all the things that cancer patients want and need from specialist health care and information through to practical, emotional and financial support. People affected by cancer don't just have medical concerns, they also worry about:
Macmillan looks after cancer patients and also provides much needed advice and support to the carers, families and the community. Their approach is holistic rather than simply trying to treat the disease. Global Regulatory Services is pleased to be able to support Macmillan with their invaluable work. Cambridge is known to be a centre of scientific excellence and we feel fortunate to be very much involved in helping companies bring new medicines to market for the benefit of all. Through our regulatory affairs consultancy we help to bring new medicines and technologies to patients worldwide. We have chosen to support our local Macmillan branch as we believe it is important to help out at community level where our contributions have a more immediate impact.
